Today I tried to add a facebook timeline link in a comment. I was amused to see that facebook considers links to timeline (http://facebook.com/timeline) spammy or unsafe.

Share a Link Using Your Lock Screen
Ever had to quickly share your site, portfolio link or business card with someone at a conference or networking event? Not using your lock screen for anything? A good use for your mobile device’s lock screen is a QR code with a URL link to your online portfolio, site, LinkedIn profile, service or product. It makes it easy to share information without having to unlock your phone.
There are plenty of free apps and online tools that can be used to create the QR code and edit the code image achieve the same results. I used the Qrafter iPhone App to create my QR code and then used the PicSets App to place the code in the center of a pic. One the image is edited and ready go to the mobile device settings and make the QR code image your lock screen image.
Now you are ready to quickly share your QR coded link with the push of a button.
